Step 1) Buy extra large "BLT" pizza and Buy extra large "The Works" from Diggs Pizza
Step 2) Ditch the lettuce and tomato
Step 3) Grab one slice of pizza of each type
Step 4) Stack or sandwich the slices together
Now eat. The clouds will part, light will shine down from the sky and angels just might sing.
Grew up eating here! Absolutely love this small family run company. Even on a night where they were busier than expected we received great service and food. Their pizza is always full of toppings, their mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, salad and cheesecake are all so good as well. They have been around for years for a reason
Tried this place three times now. The pizza is ok, the calzones are a disappointment (Literally NO CHEESE and soggy) and the bread sticks are sub par. Step it up pizza joint. I will try it again in a few months to a year and adjust my review if it improves. STEP IT UP.
Wow!!! With all the construction, I decided to take a new way home. I have seen Diggs Pizza several times on Cole but haven't tried it. Well tonight was the night, and I'm sure glad I did. The Parm bites AKA Diggs bite were delicious.. also got an order of steak fingers that were some of the best in boise. Got the meats Pizza, and it was totally loaded with meat. Employees in the restaurant were super nice. If you haven't tried it, stop by and give them a try. Good prices..18 Diggs bites for $2.99. Only downside is if you plan on dining in there, it's a little small. Will definitely go back and get dinner there again.
Diggs Pizza is located at 4646 S. Cole Rd. in Boise at The Indian Lakes Shops, near the corner of S. Cole and W. Amity. Diggs Pizza aka “Boise’s Little Hidden Gem” is a family owned business that has been making pizza for 20+ years. They make their own dough and sauce, and real mozzarella cheese. They use only fresh vegetables that they chop/dice/cut daily for their toppings, salads, and grinders. They have an extensive menu that includes signature pizzas, Keto bowls, Calzones, Grinders, Salads, Sides, and Desserts. They also have a new Sicilian pizza on the menu with Square cut slices.
I visited Diggs Pizza for the first time on 8/23/23. I had other plans for dinner that night, but when I drove by it, I quickly pulled into the gas station next-door and turned around because this is a place I’ve been wanting to check out for several years.
The inside of the store is a small L shape with four tables for indoor dining. Diggs offers free delivery for orders of $12 and up. The vibe was the pizza equivalent of Cheers! Friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
I ordered a small (10“) - The Standard - Pepperoni and Black Olives ($11.56) and a Large Garden Salad - Crisp Lettuce, Fresh Mushrooms, Onions, Black Olives, Green Peppers and Fresh Tomato with your choice of dressing ($5.25). They serve Hellmann’s salad dressing.

I really liked the pizza. It had the slightly yeasty odor of freshly made dough, and a nice chew. The housemade pizza sauce was savory and had good flavor. There was a good amount of toppings, and it was cheesy.
The salad was very fresh and HUGE! I didn’t care for the Hellmann’s salad dressing, but I don’t care for most premade salad dressings. Most people give Hellmann’s salad dressings high ratings. The small pizza made three meals for me and reheated well in the oven.
Although I visited during a busy time of day, my order was ready quickly. The service was excellent! Diggs has an extensive menu. Diggs uses fresh ingredients and real cheese. Diggs is one of the few local pizza businesses that makes their own dough and sauce, as well as hand tosses their pizzas. Diggs also provides good value for your money.
Highly Recommended!!!
