Boise Stage Stop

Address: 23801 S Orchard Access Rd, Boise, ID 83716, USA

Restaurant

“This is a great place to eat at. I came here because I’ve always seen it and wanted to stop. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. It’s a large sized piece of meat. They serve it out on a platter sized plate and between the chicken fried steak and the sides, it fills up the whole plate. This meal could be easily be for two people. The gravy is hot and very flavorful, country style so it has little bits of sausage here and there. The meal is $20 so it’s a little more on the pricy side, but if you like chicken fried steak it’s a must. The other people I was with ordered the pastrami sandwiches, those were very good. Full of meat and sauerkraut. The very good grub. There are many spots to sit and maybe not enough staff for when the place gets real busy. Our meal here took just over than hour. So if you are looking for a quick stop for a bite, you may be a little disappointed. However, if you want a little rest before continuing your journey, this is an ideal watering hole. Very old fashion looking inside which gives the place a lot of character. Overall, I recommend the Boise Stage Stop.”

“Wow!!! With all the construction, I decided to take a new way home. I have seen Diggs Pizza several times on Cole but haven't tried it. Well tonight was the night, and I'm sure glad I did. The Parm bites AKA Diggs bite were delicious.. also got an order of steak fingers that were some of the best in boise. Got the meats Pizza, and it was totally loaded with meat. Employees in the restaurant were super nice. If you haven't tried it, stop by and give them a try. Good prices..18 Diggs bites for $2.99. Only downside is if you plan on dining in there, it's a little small. Will definitely go back and get dinner there again.”

Koco Bell

Address: 13601 W McMillan Rd #104, Boise, ID 83713, USA

Restaurant

“Our lunch party of 8 tried many dishes on our first visit. Our favorites were the potstickers & the Toast (griddled sandwich) & bulgogi bibimbap. We also loved the kimchi, cold & the hot one that came in the bbq box w/the yummy pork belly. Half of our group liked the corndogs & most liked the sweet pancakes and 2, who enjoy more spice, like the tteokbokki (chewy rice cakes in a nice red broth, topped with cheese). Mom enjoyed her ramen & didnt share. Free water was warm or you could buy cold bottled water or other drinks. We thought the box of Melon yogurt drink was good, once. Sticky tables (from cleaner?) & not many tables (4) is why the lower rating. Loved the pictures & staff who answered our many questions about our new first visit.”

Tommy’s Italian

Address: 13601 W McMillan Rd #104, Boise, ID 83713, USA

Restaurant

“I just was passing by and noticed this shop which had popped up recently. My friend and I stopped in and the atmosphere was GREAT! The owner and workers were so kind and open. A cute fact I learned is that the shop is named after the owners son who grew up eating the food. We got DELICIOUS mozzarella sticks! They have good prices, tasty food, and are local! I highly highly recommend!”

Twisted Timber Foods & Brews

Address: 4563 S Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83709, USA

Restaurant

“While we don't live near this restaurant, it's well worth the drive for us. The atmosphere is easy going and the food is excellent, especially the pizza. The pretzels are soft and quite delicious. There's always an excellent selection of beer on tap as well. The outside is dog friendly and always has friendly and attentive service.”

Basilios Tacos

Address: 10565 W Lake Hazel Rd, Boise, ID 83709, USA

Restaurant

“Decent food. Order taker guy seemed mad at everyone, or just overall grumpy. Food was mid at best. For tacos that cost $3 a piece id rather go to tin roof, but this place is more authentic.... I hate to give a not 5 star but it is what it is. I'll be back again for an updated review 🫡”

The Human Bean

“Always a bright spot in my usually chaotic day. I'm usually a Salted Caramel Breve girl, but I'm now loving the Lime Bright with Cherry for the summer. Thanks girls, for the great recommendation! Love the energy and warm welcome I ALWAYS receive here. Lake Hazel Human Bean is definitely my favorite on-the-go coffee spot in the valley. 💜☕️”

Maverik Adventure's First Stop

“Great place to stop by if you need a soda, slushie, or grab a quick bite to eat. They have 10 gas pumps. Sell propane and ice. Employees were super nice. Lots of junk food and drinks to choose from.”

SpringHouse At The Merc

Address: 5892 W Hidden Springs Dr, Boise, ID 83714, USA

Restaurant

“We had a chance to try out this restaurant recently. What a great experience! We were able to sit outside with our dogs. There was plenty of outdoor seating on a beautiful Saturday night in the spring. The inside is big and open with plenty of craft beers and local wines and multiple televisions to watch the game. The ordering at the counter was convenient and the service was friendly. The portions were excellent. Just the right amount of onion rings and tots. The pulled pork sandwich had plenty of pork with a nice fluffy bun and the BLTA was excellent. The serving of huckleberry was a generous serving and went perfectly with the flowerless chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the NW Boise area, Eagle or Hidden Springs.”

Sandbagger Grill

Address: 6501 S Cloverdale Rd, Boise, ID 83709, USA

“Great food! Large portions. We ended taking half home! Service was excellent. Was a bit loud but we got seated in the back where it was less loud and we could watch people on the driving range which was fun.”

Spring Creek Brewing Company

Address: 18651 N Streams Edge Way, Boise, ID 83714, USA

Restaurant

“This place is amazing! I’m one of those beer nerds that have found that easily 80% of Micro Breweries don’t really know how to brew. Spring Creek is in the 20% that do, and of those, they are in the top 2% that blew my mind on how good they are at it. Of note is their Ribbons of Euphoria IPA. It’s a West Coast style IPA that hits everything that style should. It’s literally the one of two 5 star check ins I have on Untappd. IYKYK. On top of that, it’s a fantastic room. Indoor and outdoor seating with views for miles. Clean and welcoming. Then there’s the food. You’d expect bar food at a brewery, ya? Sure, they have that, but it’s a step or two above average. Their wood fired pizzas are excellent, the Kobe beef burger is wonderful too. Fresh ingredients that are perfectly prepared. Think comfort food that’s healthy and oh so good. Their chef is the best, servers are friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit hidden and just out of town, but so worth the trip. I’ll be back, and can’t wait to see what they are brewing and cooking next!”
