The 4-star rating does not in any way pertain to the ramen. I thought it was very good, and exceptional for Meridian Idaho. I had the Tonkatsu (spicy) and it was surprisingly, well, spicy. The broth was very good and the noodles were done very well. A large and filling portion. I also had the side of kimchi which was good. The one star deduction was for the "hot tea" which was served in a tall, well used, plastic soda cup (photo uploaded). The entire sight of it was very off putting and smell was unpleasent. For $2, the tea should have been better.

    To the owner
Please work on the tea, flavor and presentation.
You charge .50 cents for the good sized side of kimchi
and $2 for the tea. I would gladly pay $2 for the kimchi, and maybe you should charge .50 cents for large glass of hot water.
    Just a suggestion.

The tonkotsu ramen is good, but the noodles seem just okay. If you've had lots of ramen, they don't match the broth well. If that makes any sense. The service was decent, I just felt bad because only one server was staffing the whole place and had to take care of literally everyone there. Good for a quick soup as comfort food if you don't want to drive to Boise for better ramen options.

This is a great place for fresh, hot ramen. I’ve ordered from Ramen Sho several times. I have yet to find something on the menu I didn’t enjoy!

My go-to is for sure the Spicy Tonkotsu but I’ve also enjoyed the Tan Tan (miso broth with spicy sweet ground pork). The Cream Cheese Wontons are to die for. They’re only $3.99 and you get 5 pieces of these deep fried delicious bits, as well as a side of sweet chili sauce. If you’re not feeling soup, I’d suggest the Karaage bowl (crunchy Japanese fried chicken on steamed rice topped with green onion, green onion and unagi (eel) sauce or the Pork Belly bowl (same as the Karaage bowl but with delicious, juicy pan fried pork belly).

Prices are incredibly reasonable. Bowls are anywhere from $7.50-$14.00 and come with generous amounts of food.

Was at the nearby Speedway when we decided to head somewhere nearby for dinner. A quick walk away was Ramen Sho. I'd always wanted to try high quality Ramen after years of cup noodles. Ramen Shoe did not disappoint! I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was delicious. Highly recommend the fried chicken as well. Service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was nice.
