The Chicken Shanty

First off, I will say that the portion sizes are good and the food seems very fresh and the chicken was juicy. Fries are terrific and sauces are delicious. But that is where the good ends. The prices are pretty outrageous considering that you are forced into purchasing a full meal (example sandwich, fries and drink) the chicken was actually very bland, the bacon was rubbery, and the bun was soft but very dry (no mayo on the top and not toasted). Overall spent over $40 for a family of three. Probably wont go back based on the cost alone.

Love trying new chicken restaurants and this one will definitely stay on my top list! Loved the variety of sauces and all were super flavorful. Was a little more on the pricier side but I must say for the quality of the food; I get it. Will be back!

This place is going to put every chicken place out of business. The food is legitimately good, the service was awesome and super quick. The sauces are hand made and you can tell that the quality is substantially better. The coconut chicken was a little soft but the flavor made it worth it. The rest of the chicken was very crispy yet perfectly moist on the inside. Will definitely be back for for this REAL chicken that’s real good.

Amazing. To say the least. We drove out ~25 minutes to try it. Got their Mr. Crabs Sandwich and their Boneless Wings. As well as their Prickly Pear and Strawberry Lemonade which were amazingly sweet (like drinking a gummy worm)! Their buffalo sauce is very spicy and I wasn't completely prepared for that but it was very tasty! And can't forget their fries which were perfectly crispy. We look forward to trying more of the menu another time!

After seeing an article about the chicken shanty moving locations and it’s opening a couple days ago, I just had to try this place out with my husband. The food is absolutely delicious. And the fries have a wonderfully crispy outer layer.
