Elkins Resort On Priest Lake

This resort is absolutely amazing. The cabin I stayed in had all the comforts of home, oh yeah, and a killer view! It was like owning a well-appointed log cabin. The property is a true gem as well. Private, swimmable beach, hiking trail, great nooks and crannies to lounge in, pick your favorite --adirondack chair or beach towel --plus a full service bar and restaurant. You'd be forgiven for having low expectations for quality seeing how Elkins is is dead center in practically wilderness, but the staff manage to pull off some damn-good breakfast, lunch, and dinner! This place has been around going on a century because of the property, the amenities, and fostering a culture of excellence! Thank you, Elkins!

Elkins Resort was just perfect for us. The resort is so beautiful. The rooms have super comfy beds and have everything you need for the perfect stay. The staff is so friendly and do everything to meet the needs of its clients. Then the food is so good from snacks to dinner. Top chef does fantastic menu options. We were there for a family wedding and they made sure everything was set up just as we wanted. I can't thank the staff enough for making this trip one of the best we have had.

I live at the lake part time and have been going to Elkins since I was born. The service, food and boating facilities are superior. I have had a wedding there, seen three generations of families there and never have a bad experience there. I knew the Elkins and the current owners are carrying on the legacy of the resort in a very high class fashion. It is beautiful and rustic on the outside but full service and professional in every other sense.

We had such a lovely time at Elkins Resort. We will definitely come back again to enjoy and explore the area further. The grounds are very rustic and clean. The restaurant on the site has fine dining options. We ordered several dishes and all were well done. The green lawn in front of the restaurant offers a spacious area for a more leisurely dining.

Went with friends who had been before. They told us it was the best food they had ever had, so expectations were high. I ordered the tri tip. It came out and looked amazing, but when I dug in, it was room temperature. I told the server who took it back and returned a few minutes later. When it came back it was warm, but I wouldn’t say hot. It was fine, and I enjoyed it well enough. Everyone else raved about their food, so maybe just bad luck. The huckleberry crisp dessert was 10/10 amazing though.
