Interesting menu with bold flavors. The grilled Caesar salad is a great value at 5 dollars. The corn and crawfish chowder is tasty but was surprisingly spicy which should be noted on the menu. I had the salmon risotto for dinner. Salmon was cooked a perfect medium but was a little under seasoned. The tomato salsa was a nice addition. The risotto is a risky addition to the menu unfortunately it didn't work out. Great flavor (overshadowed the salmon) but was a little under cooked. Thankfully Lance took care of any issues I bought up, without hesitation. Thanks!
Justin and team! we had the best family lunch time today. so great that maddie and nevaeh, paul and lance are on your team! thank you for pampering our family who were visiting from two different states.
we will be back to visit.
Nice view. Good food. Good service. Worth a visit. The bread is extra tasty. Closed a few days a week, even though description on website, sign beside building and some locals may make you think restaurant is open 7 days a week.
We went in after waiting about 30 minutes (fairly quick seeing how busy they were) and ordered our food at about 7:30. The waiter came bake to ask what my sister ordered because he couldn't read his own writing after taking it down.. more on that later.
With a party of 5, we got our food at around 8:20, but unfortunately, my mother received the wrong salad. The waiter expressed his apologies and expedited the correct salad and said it was on the house (we did not pay for it).
The Pasta Primavera (vegan) was very good. I enjoyed it very much. My father ordered the Fish Tacos and was pretty dissatisfied. The fish was dry, and the overall presentation was lazy. The only thing good about it was the sauce. The overall food experience was okay.
After all of us finished eating, my mother finally got her salad and awkwardly ate as we were all waiting for her to finish, so we decided to order dessert just to pass the time.
I'm not sure if it was the waiters' misake or the kitchens, but just taking an extra few seconds to double-check the order probably could have avoided the whole thing. We were there for 2 hours total for the extra waiting time.
We've lived here for three years and this is the first time coming to Trinity at City Beach. We will be there again. We were told that it was super expensive and the type of place you would come for an anniversary or birthday. Turns out it's not terribly expensive. The service is impeccable. We had four entrees and three glasses of wine for a hundred bucks. The New York strip that I got was so tender and delicious. Next time I go back I'm going to get the filet to round out my porterhouse. I also had pulled pork enchiladas. The mole a sauce was and the pulled pork was tender. The wife had crab which were fluffy and full of crab. The view of the lake was beautiful. The tables are separated so you don't feel crowded. I can't wait to go back.
