Bob's Restaurant & Lounge

First time trying Bob's. We live in Meridian and rarely travel to Nampa.
So we went for a late lunch and not many people there. So we don't know why it felt like the service was slow.
Our waiter was recovering from an injury and had his left arm in a sling. He still seemed to manage well. It just took uncomfortably long to be sat, take our order and wait for the bill. He was on top of bringing us drink refills.
The food was delicious!
We will be back.

I have to say we were pleasantly surprised eating at Bob’s. We have now been twice hoping that the first time wasn’t the only amazing time…we have now been twice and both experiences were great. The first time I had prime rib, which was cooked exactly how I asked for it. The portion sizes were great. Now the best thing that we have had so far are the cheese curds and the finger steaks are amazing!

The food was really tasty, the service was quick & accurate. The restaurant was clean, and when customers left a table it was cleaned off & wiped down promptly. Brooke made sure I had drink refills if I wanted them, smiled & was friendly. She took care of hostessing, serving & cashiering all with speed & attention.

Came for the pre-fixe Thanksgiving menu at 2:30pm. We had a reservation for days in advance, but the host didn't know where to seat us, even though she had found the reservation. There were at least 4 open tables. The host took our drink order. Later a man came and said, "ohh, you get salads" and offered us dressings. We had completely finished our salads, but not been able to place our entree order. Nevaeh came and asked if we had ordered, but our menus were still on the table. She was sweet and friendly but appeared overworked and stressed. My turkey dinner arrived without cranberry sauce and the 12oz prime rib was only 8oz. Confirmed on our check. Food was decent for the price, no complaints. Ordered a house Manhattan, but bill showed well Manhattan, so really not sure which I got but it was perfect and strong. Would we return? Probably, as I'd like to try their regular menu on a less hectic evening.

We to headed Bob's and went around 4pm on a Saturday.   The place was nice and quiet and enjoyed our time  here with the roomy booths.

Our waitress was upbeat and cheery (thanks Nevia) and the host (sofia) greeted us with a smile and was very nice and allowed us to pick our booth.

The one thing that was a downer and hope the management follows through is the bathroom situation.   The cleanliness was a sore sight..!  Not good.

As far as the food went we order the Mushroom burger and the super burger.  People this is good stuff...!

Overall the experience was good especially  the customer service.

Really need help on the bathroom situation though.
