And I’m glad they did. The Nampa store is everything I have come to expect out of the Pie since I started going in the 90’s. Sourdough to die for, perfect spices and flavorings, as always an eclectic beer selection. (COVID’s gone, bring back by the slice and the salad bar, we’ll be okay. Promise ya.) Love this place.”

“This was one of the best meal memories we have had. Delicious food, although it was very busy. I had a half of a Baked Chicken and it was by far the Best I have ever had. “Stopped by for gas and use the restroom. The store has high ceilings and it’s inside walls are all painted with outdoor adventure scenes. The price for gasoline is a good price, with many pumps to choose from. Pump #2 didn’t shut off when my tank was full, so it flowed over. Overall I will definitely come here again.”

“This review is strictly on their Wednesday night $5 Beer+ Burger Basket. A beer and burger w/fries for $5 is such a great deal I had to try it out. The Getaway is a sports bar and grill and that’s exactly what you get when you walk in. Plenty of TVs with sports playing, pool tables, dart boards, and friendly regulars (atmosphere 4⭐️). Our service was excellent, they had 3 servers working the floor and at least 3 bartenders. They were super friendly, very attentive, and had all of our needs met throughout our meal (service 5⭐️). The price is of course going to be 5⭐️, it’s such a great deal, but besides that I ordered an additional drink before the meal and it too was well priced (and our server was very knowledgeable of what beers they had on tap at the time, which was refreshing) They also offer a list of signature drinks to try, and I surely will the next time I visit. Now the food… I went in not expecting much for $5, these days you don’t get much for $5, so my expectations were low. I was very pleasantly surprised! The burger was big! Well seasoned, cooked perfectly. For $5 it’s a plain hamburger (w/toppings), but you can add cheese, bacon, avocado, mushrooms for an additional charge (I added cheese to mine). It was delicious, seasoned, good char, Juicy not over cooked. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. They also came with a solid fry sauce and I asked for ranch on the side as well. I went with my vegetarian moms and they had no issue preparing her burger with all the fixings plus mushrooms and avocado with the burger on the side. She ordered the tots which we’re also crispy and well seasoned (another 5⭐️ for service). I will definitely be back for an inexpensive, delicious, and filling meal with great service.”

“Okay I loved the vibe. Definitely a hole in the wall, home town local feel kind of place. We came for breakfast and got the Mexican breakfast bagel and California breakfast bagel. Both were great, but just a heads up they’re using microwaves, canned jalapeños, and probably generic pace salsa. So this is not gourmet food - but still yummy. I can’t wait to come back to try their lunch bagels and drinks. Also tried a Apple turnover and it was great 👌🏻 Also The prices were also great! “Great dining experience, I stopped in after an appointment on my way home. They made exactly what I wanted to eat. The spices and seasoning are authentically unique and very tasty. The service was great. I noticed the server smiled and greeted everyone that entered the restaurant serving those that dined in and those who had orders to go. “Overall I’ve never had a terrible experience here. Orders have always been correct. However, the last 3 times I’ve been in the afternoon manager Sharyn, has been terrible with her service. I had app coupons the last 3 times I’ve gone it and they don’t work. She has been nothing but rude and clearly irritated with the app coupons and it shows. The last visit was in the drive thru and after her telling me the coupon wouldn’t work she just stopped helping me at the drive thru. I sat there for 4 minutes (I timed it) without her talking to me and I finally pulled in and went inside so I didn’t hold up cars any longer. When I was asking her to show me how to get the barcode instead of the numbers on the coupon, she looked at my phone said I’m done with this tossed my phone at me and walked away. She should not be a manager if she cannot communicate well with customers. I understand the app is a hassle and I felt bad that it wasn’t working but she has zero communication skills. The rest of the workers in there were very nice. In the end my coupon didn’t work and she was no help at all”

“This place was great! We just moved to the area and my birthday is tomorrow so we decided to give this place a try! The workers are very respectful of my service dog in training, and who I assume to be the manager kept an eye on her while I left my dog in a down-stay to get my salad. My dog didn't budge but I really appreciate that I had an extra pair of eyes on her! I do have a slight critique of the wording she used during a question. She asked if I was training her for someone and what she was for. Which is a great question, but can be seen as invasive by some other people. I suggest asking what tasks or work she is trained to do! My pup does deep pressure therapy, crowd control, and anxiety alert. Again great staff and atmosphere! I forgot to take a picture of my pup in the restaurant but here's the same getup she was in today!”

“Our order was messed up, however it was corrected. We ordered the bucket meal and sides. Instead of coleslaw, we ordered Mac n cheese in its place. We didn't find out til we got home. Luckily we're not far. I appreciate how kind they were & got us the Mac n cheese. It might be difficult for some though. Getting the order wrong and driving all the way home. Food was good but not completely an even mix of the original & crispy when we asked if could have a combination on the chicken. It was getting late, so I'll give them benefit of the doubt.
