“We recently had dinner with friends at the Deer Cliff Inn on 9/12/2020. It had been over 20 years since my wife and I had been there. Two of us ordered steaks and two ordered the shrimp and chicken. I ordered my steak medium and the other steak was supposed to be medium rare. Both steaks were well done. The outside seating was full and there was over a thirty minute wait for our meals. Our wives ordered the shrimp and chicken which were good. A little disappointment with the steaks. The big surprise came with the bill. There was a cover charge added for live music which wasn’t posted for $6.00. When we went to pay the bill they would only accept checks or cash. Again this wasn’t posted anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu. We left feeling that it may be a long time before we come back. I feel any restaurant should post the methods of accepted payment at the entrance and on the menus. So buyer beware. The ancient cash register should have been a dead giveaway.”

“Traveling through Idaho to Logan, Utah, we drove through Preston. Feeling hungry we were looking for a place to grab lunch and stumbled upon this place. What a find! The service was amazing (Sarah:44), the food delicious. Huge portions. The butternut soup was the best we have ever tasted at a restaurant. The entire experience is worth repeating. Great value for money.”

“The slices are made to order. They bake an individual slice to do this. It seems like a good idea, but it is just not that great of pizza. The sauce and toppings end up not well dispersed. The workers are not time conscientious. We called 5 min ahead and after hearing that they said it would be ready before we arrived. It was not. I told them my name and paid and she said it would be right out. I waited about 15 min.”

“We stopped into this quaint shoppe en route to Jackson Hole from SLC. What a gem. Easy parking for our motorcycles, very welcoming proprietor and her very good friend, and excellent ambiance (loved the good vibes coming from their playlist). And the food! We had sandwiches, three different kinds: reuben, turkey avocado, & cheese steak. All of them were complete perfect 10's. The bread really made those sandwiches truly outstanding. We lingered a little longer than we should have, thanks to a powerful WiFi. : ) Thank you for your smiles and friendliness and the excellent food. I mainly needed WiFi ? and it was a bit early for lunch so I had the place to myself, but I was impressed when an employee noticed me searching for an outlet for my dying laptop and showed me the best one, a bit hidden. The chicken strips were pretty good and I loved the Tots in honor being in Napoleon Dynamite's home town ?... The chocolate shake on my way out was very tasty.”
