This is my second visit to this charming little heaven.
My first visit I had a delicious gourmet breakfast panini with egg and pesto. I also met a lovely couple that invited me to sit with them. We found that we had several interests in common.
We must have spent at least an hour communing. We have kept in touch since. This is the kind of place where you get the feeling like Cheers, but no need for alcohol! Just that warm welcoming feeling where you feel like everybody is your friend.
The gals that wait on you at the counter and serve are all young but in no way could you categorize them an XYZ gen type! So genuinely gracious, well spoken and obviously love where they work and enjoy serving each person who walks in the door.
Today for lunch I had their heartwarming soup of the day, Hungarian mushroom soup with accompanied by a slice of their garlic clove infused sourdough toast along with a cup of tea and for desert a hearty oatmeal raisin cookie.
Holy moly, so so good! We got two Gluten Free Chicken Cilantro paninis with a side of their taco soup. Unbelievable. They make their own GF focaccia bread in house and it’s scrumptious!!
Delicious! And such friendly service! We will have to make this a routine after Costco trips... Great variety of baked goods, (one we tried was a mixed berry oatmeal bar, naturally sweetened with the fruit, perfect for our kiddos) and looking forward to trying the soup options they had in the future (Jambalaya, taco soup and one other, don’t remember) and panini’s, too! Bravo, ladies, who helped us
The owner was working as I’m sure she always is. She’s spunky and sweet and has an energy that I’d love to eat breakfast around every morning. They have a pastry of the day and I mentioned that I’d never had a French Cruller before and she sent me away with one for free. This place is worth waking up early for or driving a little bit extra out of the way for a little lunch. Fresh food, fresh faces. I can’t wait to go try more!
Phenomenal
Highly recommend
Donuts are awesome as well
Update: after a few more visits it seems like there’s hardly any doughnuts anymore ),: last couple times going in options were very limited. One trip even resulted in leaving empty handed.
