River City Pizza

Our pizza was amazing. We enjoyed the Hawaiian and the Loaded Baked Potato, which is now a new favorite. We will definitely be repeat customers. The delivery was easy to set up and arrived at the exact time given.

The family and I get two pizzas, one cheese and one combination, from here every few weeks and we never get bored of it. They are consistently good and its awesome that it is down the street with a friendly staff every time we have gone. The ingredients are fresh and are just the right amount for us. They cut them larger than some places so they are not mushy. We usually order extra cheese and it’s the perfect amount, we like cheese and it tastes real on these pizzas.

We get thick crust, which I normally don’t like at other places, but it is great here. I like New York style pizza but at this place I prefer the thick. The pizza is not oily and the sauce has just enough flavor and amount where I don’t have to order light on the sauce. For me it is an average priced pizza and I never feel sick after eating it. We eat a lot of it.

We have yet to get a burnt pizza.

I will round up to 4 stars but would probably give River City 3.5 if I could. My pizza was loaded with cheese and that kind of took away from the toppings and sauce on the Cowboy. The crust was of a decent flavor and although it probably could have been cooked a little more, I enjoyed the doughiness. For the price I expected more. The overall experience wasn't great, but it was good. The staff took my order over the phone and they were very pleasant when I showed to pick up my order. Not sure I will try again.
