Worth the drive from Spokane. Did not disappoint. Huge burger did not disappoint on quality and taste. Even took half of it home and still tasted amazing.
Grew up in a small town myself, that same charm of kids coming in the back door visiting family. Old building with the small time no thrill vibe. Food speaks for itself from this whole in the wall place.
The onions rings are a must, as well. Didn’t even need the dipping sauce they were so delicious. Will make the drive again.

10 out of 10 experience! The staff were kind and helpful. The burgers were so filling! I had half of my burger and half of my medium fry, when I was stuffed and had to get a to go box! Highly Recommend!!!!!

I enjoyed lunch at Effie’s today. First time back in probably 40 years. Like most things, I expected it to be not nearly as good as I remembered. I was wrong. Service was great (served by the current owner), food was beyond. Thank you for not taking short cuts and delivering the best (and biggest) burger ever!

Been hearing about the size of their burgers for a while and finally went to see for myself. I'm so glad I did cause their burgers are huge and sooooo delicious. The staff is amazing and so friendly.

I was totally blown away by the honest hospitality from Dann. I'm grateful he showed us how big the burger patties, 10" around. I could barely finish a half burger. The cheeseburger was the best burger I've had in a very long time, it beat out my favorite burger joint. One of my biggest thrills was that the burgers didn't have hardly any grease on them, so the buns weren't soggy at all. No grease or oils dripping down from my fingers to my wrist or arm. I would highly recommend this burger joint. This is my go to place for quality burgers now, I'll drive the 130 miles for it.
