Shore Lodge

One of the best lakefront locations anywhere. Jaw dropping views and direct lake access. Plus a nice spa, pools, a beach, and even s'mores by a fire at night. The highlight is the bar with panoramic views, nice cocktails, and the best burger I can remember. Don't miss stopping here next time in McCall!

Just enjoyed a few days as a family here. It was perfect. The kids enjoyed the pools, game room, movies, and smores by the fire. We felt so comfortable. The staff was great. Food options were excellent. Spa was incredible. Shore Lodge is unique place with genuine character. I really enjoyed talking to Judy in the gift shop who shared that the owner cares about the historic building and works hard to run it well. You can tell that this is a special place for many people. We look forward to coming back!

This is such a unique location, and truly an amazing location, good facilities, variety of activities. Glad to have had the opportunity to go.

A couple of very practical things shifted my thoughts towards 3/4 stars....

1.) The staff was wonderful--and yet--didn't seem to know basic things about the hotel...such as...where the pool was, whether there were change rooms or not, and so on;
2.) Not good signage: The hotel is somewhat sprawling, and figuring out where all the rooms, activity centers, pool, meeting rooms, theatres, and different eating spots, is really a challenge. There *are* maps at the front desk, but not in the room, and the staff did not direct us to that.

The cleaning and turn-down service, in-room movie service, were *superb*.

All in all a wonderful stay and would love to go again.

Room was absolutely beautiful, amazing view and staff. The spa was phenomenal and absolutely worth every dollar. Pools were relaxing. Only issue was the food left something to be desired with prices considered. The steak house was delicious but not for the price, the steak itself was under seasoning and poorly cooked, however the waitress was amazing. Cut water messed up the breakfast, did leave room for improvement.
