Cook Shack on 7th

Had prime rib dinner and it was excellent. Had mixed berry pie for dessert, make sure you get it warmed because it is refrigerated. A lot of people were ordering the clam chowder so it must be really good and I will try it next time. Food was so good I forgot to take a picture. There is also outdoor seating.

If down home food is what you're looking for it is. Little on the spendy side but it's in keep with the times I suppose. Chicken. Fried steak was awesome and so were mashed and veggies. Gravy could've been a little more seasoned. Hard to find home made chicken fried steaks anymore and theirs is a pretty good size. 😉 enjoy.

On my second visit, I was by myself and sat at the counter / bar area. I was happy to share my stories with anyone who would listen.

Great food. Smoked porkchop? Fantastic! Smoked mac n cheese? Amazing! Steaks are wonderful. Atmosphere is charming and their adding on!

The food was outstanding! Large portions, enough for 2 meals. No room for dessert. I had a smoked pork chop. It was 1 1/2 inches thick. Cooked perfectly, no blood and still juicy. Husband had meatloaf. Good food every time. The salmon and country fried steak are excellent too. Great price. Not much more than McDonald's but so much better. Service was great. Food came in less than 10 minutes. Kept our drinks full and didn't hover. Outdoor seating, perfect for spring and summer weather. Farm house decor. Very clean. Staff were friendly. Not too noisy. Clean bathrooms as well. I highly recommend the Cook Shack. Best food in Weiser.
