Lucky Dogs

Went with #3 grandson & his wife today. Wow! What great food we all had something different. I had the Chicago style Dog, my wife had a Hawaiian dog, gr’sin a pulled pork & his wife a bratwurst. Wonderful sides, the Slaw was crisp & tasty, the baked beans were to die for, as was the Mac ‘n cheese. But the best was $1 cans of beer!
We’ll be back.

Some of the best food in the tri-state area. Had the Italian Beef and Chicago Dog. Wife had the Mac and Cheese dog. Both where excellent. Service was quick, and friendly. Prices where reasonable, and quality was on point.

The atmosphere of the place is low key and laid back.

Already looking forward to it next trip there.

I can say without a doubt that the baked beans were the best I've ever had, and the cole slaw was next to perfect. Customer service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great for the occasion. The hot dog was pretty good too! Hope this helps. Thank you for your time.

My husband and I are native Chicagoans so we tried their Chicago hotdog and the Italian beef and they were delicious. Given the price point I feel the beef should have been beefier, but they had hot (spicy) giardiniera so that was a big plus. The neon green color of hotdog relish was unusual (not bad, just different) but the taste was good. Overall, they’re as close to Chicago style as one will find in this area. The service was very prompt and friendly. The restaurant was clean, clean, clean. We will go back.
