We always get the full chicken and beef nachos for the 2 of us. We used to order it as the appetizer and then order separate entrees, however, we could never finish the nachos. We always ended up taking our entrees home with us. We tried to find something similar when we lived in Des Moines, but we never found anything like it. Definitely recommend the nachos!
This was our first time dining here and we were very pleased with the service and food. We were seated right away, even on a very busy Saturday night. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good! Overall a very pleasant experience, especially after having a horrible experience at another restaurant in town shortly before.
Great place with a cool vibe. The food was excellent! Steaks were flavorful and cooked perfectly! Shrimp was tasty. Waitress was superb! Nice to meet the owner and char a bit. Not many places around where the owners come and check on you!
I Highly, HIGHLY Recommend The Abbey. My husband & I had the Best time! Great Food, Reasonably priced & Incredible Service.. I had the Buffalo Chicken Horseshoe piled high with Uhhhmazing fries & topped with warm cheese sauce... My husband enjoyed the Hot Lips Chicken Basket.. Four Massive lightly breaded chicken tenders, this came with fries & a small cup of potato salad..This is an above 5 Star rating in our books.. If you haven't been here yet.. Whatcha waitin for.. Ya better go git you some of this Yum 😋
The Abby is a great place for pub-style dining. A great center bar with an efficient well trained staff. A broad menu with something for everybody and specials of the day. The drive through is convenient for those on the go. Cozy, warm and friendly atmosphere. Laughter is heard often hear. For a casual and fun dining trip, you will not be disappointed. I think the sign that says "The Abbey - A Quincy Tradition" sums it up best. And with all sincerity The Abbey is a very very solid tradition not to be missed. GREAT JOB TO 'THE ABBEY! KEEP UP THE TRADITION!!!
