Decent place. Nice breakfast. Staff were all very nice and everything was clean.
The hotel and staff were excellent rooms clean and neat.
Very nice clean hotel at a good rate. Convenient to the interstate and lots of restaurants. Breakfast bar good with the exception of the juice machine (mold in dispenser)
Great business travel type hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Great location with local and national restaurants near by. Breakfast is above average for hotels of this class. Only downside is water taste. Bring bottled water to drink in the room.
I'll start with my one complaint: The "Marketplace" as they call it. The hotel has no vending machines or anyway to get a food or drink item. Instead, by the front desk is a small room with a drink refrigerator, small freezer, and shelves holding dry foods and snacks along with toiletries and medicine. Now I expected there to be some amount of markup on these items, other wise why bother, just keep the vending machines.
I purchased a standard 23 Fl oz can of Peace Tea and a standard sized ice cream sandwich. At 99% of gas stations the Peace Tea would be 99¢. I was charged $4 for the tea and $3 for the ice cream sandwich. A $7 purchase. I could go across the parking lot to the Steak n Shake and get a full meal for 2 for just $3 more! They are blatantly ripping you off. If it weren't for my shoes being wet I would've told the lady "Yeah, never mind. I'll walk the 500ft to the gas station and get the same thing for $3-4."
The good things: My room is always nice and clean when I return and, unlike other places I've stayed they have an actual couch if you'd like to sit and not lay on the bed. The TV was in an awkward spot, though, where I'd have to turn it to see it comfortably from the couch or the bed.
The breakfast is very nice. There is always bagels and bread with a toaster to use. Pastries like danishes. Fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt, and milk(though they only had skim while I was here). And there is a hot meal that changes every day. I've seen biscuits, gravy, fried and scrambled eggs, mini omlets, bacon, and ham. There is also a waffle iron and batter that makes 4 mini waffles(about 4" wide) at a time. It also has chocolate chips, oats, and raisins to add to the waffles when you cook.
I have not seen the pool/hot tub but would expect the average indoor pool.
Great experiences so far but like I said, avoid the "marketplace" unless absolutely necessary.
