“Had a corporate event here the week before Christmas 2018. About 35 people attended and we reserved one of their meeting rooms. There was ample parking, the restaurant was easy to find, and VERY conveniently located right off of I-90. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. There was a nice, large bar, and the restaurant looked busy but not crowded. Our food came from a fixed menu that gave our guests a few options including a burger, Mac and cheese, and salmon. We’ve been doing this company event for 15 years and the food from the Lucky Monk was one of the very best. The dessert was good as well although I can’t remember what it was:-). Service staff was friendly and helpful. They are a brewery so I tried a couple of their beers - very good as well, but not in my top quartile of craft beers (certainly not in the bottom though). The bathrooms were modern but a mess. Paper towels strewn about and the sinks were a mess. It could have been bad timing but can’t give five stars when everything isn’t top notch. Still a very strongly recommend place with excellent food.”

Worked out very well and smooth with a great private side space coupled with great choice of thin crust and deep dish pizza, cookies, and soda. I didn't get the bartenders name but she was sooo nice, this was Wednesday 2/27 afternoon, just so the owners know who she is. I want her to get the kudos. “I was really loving this place in the beginning as the waiter was really helpful with the menu choices and accommodation for substitution was not a fight. But then started the not so great stuff. Husband ordered chocolate milk which was still white! I ordered and customized a skillet and it was good. Everyone's food was average to good. Their pancakes on the other hand not so great, at all. Also small for a breakfast place. The worst part was the price as i paid $90 for breakfast for 3 people. Some how all the substitutions, which weren't many, all added quite a good amount of dollars per item. Substitutions were bacon for chicken. Not coming again. Too expensive”

“Love this place. Hands down the best pretzels you will ever have in your entire life. They make stuffed pretzels which are amazing, but even their plain pretzels are insanely good. You will never have a better pretzel. This location is just as good as their Winfield location, but more accessible. The only criticism I have is that they are on the expensive side, but they are so worth it. Don't miss this place!”

This might be my new favorite local suburban pizza spot for thin crust. As far as my order goes, I just went with a simple cheese pizza. “We had our wedding here yesterday, 2/24. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Andrea was so helpful from start to finish. She answered all of my questions, suggested their best dishes, walked us through everything. The day before Andrea assured me the staff would take care of us and boy did they! The waitstaff and bartenders were EXCEPTIONAL. They went above and beyond for us and our guests. We had a bar in the room and they still were bringing drinks to tables, offering refills on food. They even packed up our leftovers for us to take home. When we wanted to offer it to our guests they brought out containers for them to use. The head waiter constantly asked me if I needed anything, if everything was going well. I wish I had gotten his name because he was amazing. My friend recently learned her 3 month old has a dairy allergy. So the wait staff made my friend special plates for her with no notice at all. And one of the best parts, is it was very affordable. I can't thank or recommend this restaurant enough.”

The staff are educated coffee lovers who know how to take care of people as well. The ownership are “true believers” in what makes great coffee. “Great spot for Irish food and a pint! The interior is beautiful and very unique. Combined all that with a friendly bar staff, and clean establishment and you have yourself a great little spot. I would highly recommend the full Irish breakfast (which can feed 2 easily) and a bloody Mary. Also, they take part in several Irish America festivals which are a lot of fun. Absolutely worth checking out if you are in the area. Parking is the only downfall- but street parking and local free lots are easily accessible.”

“First time in this restaurant. I've been reading the reviews for this place for some time now but never happen to have a chance to try Primo pizza until today. I love thin crust pizza but the pizza sauce has always been the star of the show for me. I came for lunch and ordered 2 slices of sausage pizza and a pop which came to $6 +/- The pizza looked great and each piece had plenty of sausage. My first bite noticed that the thin crust truly isn't a thin crust as I am use to. It was very crispy which I like but thicker than I expected. The sauce is very flavorful but skimpy IMO . Without a doubt I ate both pieces with a smile on my face. I will order a whole pizza with extra sauce and give it another try. For now I'll give 3 stars and maybe my second try will change my rating.”
