The Cottage on Dixie

Lovely, cozy, fun place to meet up with family and friends for lunch or dinner or drinks or coffee and dessert. Great fireplace with comfortable seating. You will like it. No one should miss this place.

I don't live in the area a friend does so we decided to try this place for lunch. They were having a brunch with Santa. The restaurant was practically empty, we were seated right away and the place looks very nice. Our server came over greeted us briefly and went to assist another table. He returned and we informed him that this was our first time here. He gave us suggestions and also told us about the brunch menu. His service was great. But we waited over 30 minutes for burgers and French toast. Sure this gave me and my friend time to chat but come on. Another table was seated after us and had their food faster than we got ours. Food was just ok and I don't think we'll come back.

Warm wonderful ambience. Comfortable, intimate , relaxed yet upscale enough for that meeting with that big business account.
Their drinks alone are worth the drive, even through snow. Their chef never disappoints preparing delectable farm-to- table delights.

Yesterday was our first visit. I like the atmosphere, but the place had only a few patrons for lunch. The menu is limited but the meals were pretty good. The waitress was was very pleasant. I plan to return.

We have never been disappointed with the food or service. My family celebrates many of our special events here (birthdays, graduations, anniversaries) or just the occasional "I don't feel like cooking" meals. We are fortunate to have such a great restaurant close by! Great drinks too!
