Good atmosphere and the manager, bar tenders and bouncers are pretty cool. It's really ghetto though. But it's open until 4am so there are not very many other options at that time when you want to keep drinking or having fun.
Not sure how the spelled Johnny's but this is the samd dog I ate 20 years ago. It is still a hole in the wall dive with a good Chicago dog. We also had the specialty dogs I had a German Shepard and my husband had a Doberman. The GS is a dog with bacon, grilled onions and brown sugar mustard. It was ok not as good as a chicago dog. The Dobe had cheese, bacon, bbq sauce and other stuff. It was nice I had a bite of it. Fries were good it was greasy and tasty and I loved it. Once again this is a DIVE but fun and nostalgic and decent food, nice people and if you are out on your bike a place to pull in cool off and have a bite. We hit it while driving home from Chicago as it is only one block off of 57 on 159th street and I had been there several times as a child so this is nostalgic and just a good chicago dog!!!!
The space is big enough to have a good time and their open late. At the time I tried to order food only pizza was being served. I'm lactose so I tried to buy a different item and got denied. I didnt make a big fuss about it but the cook was kind of rude about it.
Great neighborhood place... excellent service, and selection with food and specials had fantastic family style buffet for Superbowl with the best home cooked fried Chicken I ever had will definitely be back and will send my friends
