“Awesome authentic Mexican food. The customer service was great and the food was amazing. All of the ingredients were fresh and made to order. The steak was cook perfectly and so flavorful. The owners are local residents and go above and beyond to make sure everything is cooked to perfection. The restaurant is warm and inviting and I was greeted kindly when I walked in. This was a great addition to the Country Club Hills neighborhood. You should definitely check this place out if you are in the area!”

Had the haloumi (cheese) croissant sandwich with fries, which was so delicious I wish I had one while writing the review. Even the fries were unstoppable. Can’t wait to go back over and over!”

“Definitely worth the wait! Upon walking in I see the employees in a positive attitude. Clean interior which is super important to me. Lady at the register was kind. The two cooks are super cool gave my wife and I a sample of falafel which is great and means they care about customer service. I had the chicken bowl which has generous portions. “We stopped by Flipside last week and enjoyed some beers, garlic cheese curds, fish & chips and the chicken tenders with a side of Mac and cheese. The only critique we have is we do not think the fried cod was the freshest as it was pretty watery from being frozen, but it was still decent. We plan to try out the shrimp po boy and the chicken wings on our next visit! I would love to see a plant based smash burger on the menu, the current smash burger and the other burgers sound very good. Overall, it was a little pricey but we love to support our small local businesses.”

“Love the smoothies! I go up there at least once a week (especially free upsize Friday) … it’s so close to my job. A few times recently there has been a bit of a wait. Not sure of the issue. Hoping it’s resolved soon. However, my most recent visit was very pleasant. The young man taking orders was very friendly and whenever he’s there he always offers a delicious suggestion for smoothies. My favorite smoothie so far is the extreme watermelon. “We went here for the first time and it was the best decision ever!!!! Its a great spot to try different wines with the option to purchase a full bottle! There are 9 different machines with 6 bottles in each (if I remember correctly). We had the pretzel sticks, chickpeas, and chips and all were perfect. The 2 ladies working were very helpful and knowledgeable. We're excited to come back and try more wines.”

The staff was very attentive and professional. I had the fried jerk catfish dinner with salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. All of it was delicious! Ialso recommend the fried green beans. “This was my first time here and it's a hit! They have REAL banana pudding! I had catfish, Mac, black eyed peas, green, cranberry sauce, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. Not the biggest fan of the Mac, only because I like to see my cheese pulling from the fork. Theirs is more creamy. I was a little sad my cup of cobbler was the corner and was mostly dough, but it was still good. I will be coming back.”
