LOS BURRITOS LOKOS 3

Los Burritos Lokos 3 in Midlothian serves just about every Mexican dish under the sun and then some (i.e. Mexican Potatoes), much like its counterpart in Tinley Park, and the meals I've had here have been terrific - carne asada dinners, tacos, burritos, and more.

The Los Burritos Lokos chain is also unique in that they are the only restaurants that serve their skirt steak (carne asada) in small almost-bite-sized chunks rather than slabs of meat that require being cut apart.

To be honest though, good carne asada can come in either form, but it's a nice touch to help reduce the amount of utensil handling one requires to enjoy their meal.

Luckily the carne asada at Los Burritos Lokos doesn't suffer from drying out or having crispy edges due to these smaller pieces being over cooked. The chefs here have perfected the art of cooking small portions of meat.

The often overlooked staples of beans and rice are always terrific as well.
You will also be impressed, after reading the multi-paged menu, with how wide the samplings here range.
Most non-alcoholic drink refills are free. Domestic and imported beers are available.
They open at 9AM, so there is even a smallish (but delicious) breakfast menu.

In an area inundated with Mexican restaurants, Los Burritos is one of the best around.

My favorite spot for a monster burrito when in the Crestwood/Midlothian area. Steak is seasoned nicely and chopped nice and small, always fresh and juicy, have never had any fatty grizzle. Also, not greasy.. Some times you eat a burrito and see fast/grease dripping out the bottom.. Not here. Zaca will always be my favorite spot but this is my go to whenever I am in the area. Quality, huge portion and reasonably priced

I go here every week for the Monday and Tuesday taco special, great food!!

We are new to the area and the initial experience was the drive thru- Not bad. They use good quality meat (Skirt Steak, which should Only be used for Asada) Tacos and Burritos. The Red hot sauce quite spicy and good. More to follow...
