Mickey's Ribs & Gyros

They were very pleasant and nice. The restaurant is clean. And the food is great!

Food was fantastic like always! Good ice cream too. Portions were huge

The boss/order taker/ owner? Was ready and pushy to take my order, as another customer walked in he pointed to another employee to take their order, that was the first 45 seconds. I order the #3 gyros ask for well done and easy onion, had to repeat it 3 times as he barking orders to employees. Customer return under cooked cheese sticks while waiting for my order, boss had then dropped in deep fryer and then hand delivered to nice old lady. After about 10 minutes my order was ready, in this time 6 drive thru order were filled. My gyros was very good but the fries looked like half were cooked a second time and weren't hot, just warm. If you look closely when pulling in the parking lot you will notice the 2nd floor and back half of the building is residential, probably for the employees who are glad to be here.

Been going here since I was 15 years old. When they were in the old building just north of where they are located now. Food hasn't changed a bit. Its still delicious! Really its the same guys still working there 20 years later! Great ribs! Top 3 places I know of that has the best gyro. Think Tuesday and Thursdays they have a special on the gyro plate, $7 I wanna say. It will feed 3 people. To serve 3 people I suggest getting an extra pita and extra sauce because there is enough meat to make 3 sandwiches. The meal only comes with 2 pitas and a large fry. Can't beat that! Dinner for 3 for under $10!

The South Side "Brother" (Sister?) to their Oak Park, IL location. I myself have yet to patronize this newer location, but for many years I had visited the old Tinley Park, IL location which was always a fantastic eating experience. I can remember when they used to offer "Double Cola" brand cola in their soda fountain. That was always worth the trip if only for that... Thanks for the many years of fantastic food and service at a good price...
