    Very intimate place made for small parties and dates with maybe 12 tables in total. Dimly lit with a house red available, a smaller, but tasty, selection of food offerings. We went for restaurant week and it was a four course meal with amazing pasta, but the chicken was the saltiest I've ever had which was a huge turnoff after the top notch pasta. Very unique restaurant for the big city.

    Amazing. Came in on a Tuesday night, about an hour and a half before A Tavola closed, and was pleasantly surprised to find that nobody was there. Michelle was absolutely fantastic-warm and generous. Although I don’t drink, she generously brought me a glass of champagne on the house as a “Welcome to Chicago”. The food.... Was absolutely fantastic. From the bread, which was perfectly warm and deliciously seasoned, to the pillow-soft and delicately crafted gnocchi, that was absolutely divine. Thank you to Michelle and the staff for making my experience amazing. 10/5 stars.

    I am impressed with this place! It's hidden inside of an apartment building on the 1st floor.
    Highly recommended for dates and group couples dates
