We where in town for a hockey tournament. We stopped in with a party of four. Menu had good variety of food choices, everyone had something different and everybody was really happy with their food orders. They also had a nice selection of craft beers. We would definitely go back if we were in the area again.
Used to come here when it was called "Tuman's Alcohol Abuse Center" back in the early to mid 90's. Was the quintessential dive bar with city's best jukebox (Melvins, Ministry, John Coltrane et al) and it later turned into a respectable establishment. Still a good spot for a bite (The Cuban sandwich is real good) and a swig.
Great food and Service. Atmosphere leaves a little too be desired but none the less a good time.
Food is amazing and danny rotates the specials menu often. Versatile place that does family friendly brunch and stays open late on Fridays and Saturdays. My favorite neighborhood bar in the city. Patio is open during the summer and is on the quiet side of the street. Service is always amazing
I love Tuman's. It's a nice polished dive with a great menu and a solid rotating beer list. The shrimp bahn-mi sandwich is, in my opinion, one of the best sandwiches in the city but you won't see it on any "best this or that" list. They also have a great lineup of appetizers and a good burger too.
All in all Tuman's is a awesome pub that flies comfortably under the West Town radar.
