Super busy always. Very limited space. Always very crowded. Authentic Korean food. You should do everything quick, quick, quick here. It is not a place where you can eat relaxed and enjoyable. However, food is great.
Good fast Korean bbq. They definitely shut down the place at closing time- so if you get there at the end of the night, you'll want to eat fast. It is byob. It is usually quite busy with a wait if you don't get there early enough. I really enjoyed all of the condiments that we ordered. It's a fun place for a small group. It is a small restaurant- I'd recommend going to a different place for large groups (5 or more).
Favorite Korean place in Chicago! The food is always delicious and always worth the wait. We always get thinly sliced beef without marinade, it’s the best. Soups and seafood pancake are awesome.
I absolutely love this place. The food is great, it's a cozy little atmosphere too. Tough to find parking, but it's definitely walkable from the Irving Park Brown line stop. If you're coming for dinner, be prepared for whatever the weather is, there's usually a line out the door and you have to wait in the weather.
A fine Korean BBQ establishment, however their employees are very rude. The food here is very delicious and they have a lot of options. My wife and I along with some friends had a terrible service experience. It was closer to closing and the waitress quickly took our cooking dish which still had plenty of consumable meat on it. We tried calling for her attention but she B-lined straight to the kitchen. When we later asked why she did that or if she could replace it, she simply shrugged and walked away. Judging by how the staffs demeanor and attitude rapidly changed from table to table, it was quite obvious to us Koreans and other asians receive much better service than others. I'm not going to assume anything sinister, but maybe I'll attribute my experience to the language barrier.
Normally I would be giving a lower rating, but It's BYOB, the food is excellent, and my party still had a great time despite the poor service.
