Pierrot Gourmet at The Peninsula

Five Stars. Need I say more?

I've been to many restaurants but Pierrot Gourmet at The Peninsula always has a special place for me. An incredible experience all around. From the minute you step through the blue door entrance to the tour of the kitchen, you are taken care of.

The food is beyond delectable. Every course is impeccable and well thought out. The display presentation is of the finest. Every dish is unique that it's hard to pick out the favorite dish of the tasting meal.

My favorite is the scallop. The scallop was so perfectly cooked and succulent! Full of flavor! Duck was also amazing. The food along with the service you will receive will make you want to stay for another round of the tasting.

At the end of the night, I receive box of cookies to take home. My sweet tooth could not be happier!

You can also do the lounge tastings or dessert tastings which are just as good. If you are visiting Chicago or have a special event coming up, consider making a reservation to Pierrot Gourmet at The Peninsula.

This classic upscale French bistro is everything you'd expect - great wine list with lots of French vintage, classic French food selections (pate, rotisserie, steak fries etc...) and great coffee and desserts. I've been here for lunch, dinner and dessert, and always find great service and reliably good quality food. The "chocolate obsession" dessert is amazing!

One of the best breakfast or lunch spots in Chicago. Consistency amazing pastries and their popover with rotisserie chicken all made in-house is to die for. Great coffee too! My gingerbread latte came with a piece of gingerbread!

Great cafe on ground level of Peninsula. This is always reliable spot for lunch or weekend brunch. They also have a beautiful selection of desserts.

Love this pace for breakfast! The food is amazing, great portion sizes for the price and the staff is so friendly! Even though I’m from out of town they make you feel like you’re family. I always have breakfast here when I’m in town.
