Fireside Restaurant & Lounge

I actually liked it a lot and glad I stopped in! A refreshing break away from the rest of the city. It had a very established and welcoming atmosphere and feels very comfortable. When I went it did not seem over crowded which is rare in the city and the prices were fantastic for what you got. I would definitely stop in again

Bad service during peak times. Food still good but half the orders came out wrong, while the other half of the table had to wait 15 minutes for their food to even come out. Check totally wrong as well. Double charged and charged for things no one ordered. I brought friends with me today and was embarrassed by my suggestion to come here. Been going here 7 years, it had been improving but fell back down recently. Disappointed, probably won't be on our list of standby choices.

Solid food experience: the ribs were dusted, crunchy on the outside and succulent underneath while the carrots were a bit hard, still very flavorful.
Excellent service: our server was chatty and nice, offered suggestions (and not just the expensive items on the list), and quick with the food, drinks, and check.
The ambience is 'friendly neighbor tavern' and ages range from loud techies to older suits. Careful of the kiddos, on occasion young kids can be present, but I did say neighborhood. No worries, there is always a table available and usually I can find a single at at the bar if need be.

Great food & great service! We had the spinach salad and broccoli and shells pasta. Both were excellent! We'll be back!

Cozy spot for dinner and drinks; bar is on one side and the restaurant is on the other. Food is pretty good and service was excellent. Would definitely return in the future.
