Sweet Virginia's Kitchen

As a person that is drifting around the city looking for a place to call home, this place hit the spot. After all, home is not a place, rather home is people! I had the buscuits & gravy and a cup of apple cider. The food was delicious (farm fresh) and the Owner is what put this place on my radar. Anyone looking for a warm smile to compliment some delicious food should pop in!

Nice neighborhood spot that is fairly new. I've gone for breakfast (French toast special) and lunch (pulled pork sandwiches) both were very good.

Limited hours makes this a place best suited for those who work in the area or for weekend breakfast/lunch.

Chef Angie greeted us when we walked in and explained the menu since it was our first time. We got the fall donut, biscuits and gravy, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The coffee was great too! We will be back!

The chef is very friendly and gracious. The food is excellent and a better value than the “expensive egg” place down the street. You are more likely to get seated here quickly and often the chef or sous chef will bring you your meal, herself. Donuts are phenomenal, as is every breakfast entree. Coffee is good and the decor feels rustic in the best sense of the word.

Had a wonderful meal! Food was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from.
The decor and personal touches are heart warming and give the place such a feeling of comfort. Yet it also has a modern dinner atmosphere.

I recommend the fresh donuts!!! ????
