Feels like a solid Chicago neighborhood bar complete with regulars. Nice mix of draft & bottle options. Clean, bright interior festively decorated to live up to it's name. Nice selection of board games. New jukebox.

Loved the cabin! Unique! Not the dirty old bar! This is a warm and comfortable spot! Great experience here! Harry always innovates his place! The extra touches made this an awesome place to keep in mind for future visits! I will definitely recommend it, they treat you as family! Large variety of spirits and beers!

Went on a Saturday night and had a blast. Bartender was a cool younger guy (probably donates to charities and loves America) who definately cared about his patrons and the product he was putting out. I mostly drank beer, girlfriend had a Moscow mule and some other stuffs.

Went back during the week, different story. Older grumpy guy bartender (probably kicks dogs for fun) said he didn't have the ingredients to make a margarita (the mix bottle was visible in the well) and rolled his eyes and scoffed when a Moscow mule was ordered (they display their copper mugs dead center behind the bar... almost like they want you to buy one? Guess not from this dude). Some guy at the bar, I'm guessing an off duty worker, apologized for the bartender. I just laughed, finished my one drink and went down the street.

I guess you just gotta roll the dice and see who's tending bar? The atmosphere is great and prices are right for the neighborhood. Good luck!

Cute little neighborhood bar...looks like a log cabin in and out, with seasonal decor to boot!
Next door is their sister place, The Picnic Basket, a fabulous little sandwich shoppe gem with pizzas, tasty meat sandwiches and more.
They also make personal picnic baskets for families or a sweet romantic date.
Come for the drinks and atmosphere, free your face at the same time!
    Enjoy!????
