I really like this bar. The drinks are great and the vibe is really nice. The only issue is the service.
The servers are always nice and knowledgeable, but there are never enough of them. If you’re not sitting at the bar and find a seat at one of the tables, it can take 15 minutes before someone sees you initially, and twice as long between visits after that if you want another drink or food.
The last 3 times I’ve gone they’ve had 2 servers covering the entire bar, all the tables, and busing as well. I love this place, but the service is so slow, just wish they had more servers.
Punch house is a neat little bar in the basement of the Thalia Hall. It has an excellent array of drinks and snacks on for offer with a cool vibe that doesn't take itself too seriously. While a little expensive, it's a pretty fun place to go get a drink or two with friends before seeing a show. The Victorian was pretty good, but I think their drinks change regularly so, might not even be there anymore.
Fun party time! Friendly people/staff. Great Disco music!! Friendly DJ's.
Great for groups of 4 to 5 people. Warm and cozy. Nice for conversation and intimate for privacy. Not to mention uber cool vibe. Perfect for night caps or dates.
The place does it right, good food and fun music, that's not too loud. It's a great place to eat fondue and chat with your friends.
