Best burger and breakfast in the city hands down, George is a true icon in the city and a good man who really cares about his customers. Staff is helpful and they truly want you to enjoy your meal. I have been coming here since I was a child and the food has never changed. A Chicago staple right down the road from the Madhouse on Madison!

This restaurant is right by my yoga studio. I came on a Friday and got to experience their country fried steak (Only served Friday-Sunday). Friendly service and cheap, delicious diner breakfast. Say no more.

Absolutely love this place for breakfast and lunch. Reminiscent of a bygone era the food is comfort food and it is delicious. The servings are large and many of the customers are large as well. I call it the joint with big guys eat, I am 6'2_ 240 lbs, and several of the men were larger. Have a hockey team with some nice jerseys hanging and the location is down the street from the United center. I recommend this as a place to stop if you're on the west side of Chicago

Delightful breakfast spot. The outside is deceiving but if you keep an open mind and step inside, you won’t be disappointed. My friend and I both cleaned our plates which is a rare occurrence when we brunch. Tasty food and a good value, especially for the area. Would go back for sure.

I think I understand why this place is one of Chicago's great breakfast places. The food was excellent (I had George's Favorite) and the place has character, showing the owner's love of the Blackhawks on every wall.
Plus, they know their customers. We went with my wife's cousin and the manager came out to get her, ask about her mom and to get her son to come visit with the new baby.
I liked it a lot and would go out of my way to eat there again.
