    Very good chicken that's moist and flavorful. It also is good when reheated. However, if you smell any hint of old grease, don't buy until they change their cooking oil.

    This fast food place is my cousin's go to place for fried okra. As a visitor to Chicago I found the atmosphere lively, partly due to the familiarity the employees have with the customers. The location of this fast food joint made it a necessity; especially in a majority African American community to be efficient and accommodating. Fried chicken, yard bird or a preachers favorite meal are terms used to describe this staple protein of our forefathers. Here it gets its fare share of backing at this location. Those working the lunch shift need to be honored for sticking to it as the waiting crowd watches their every move.
