A must visit for lovers of ribs. In the summer they have a nice outdoor eatery. Great customer service. Small, so it fills up quickly especially on weekends but worth the wait. If you don't want to wait get there before 5pm for quick seating. A tremendous selection of local and regional beers.

Get the full slab of ribs with zesty sauce and onion rings. Don't be afraid to sit at the bar. Great neighborhood food and excellent service.

Twin Anchors is a family favorite. My dad used to come here with his family on special occasions when he was growing up in the city, and it's a tradition he wanted to keep going for his family. We come here probably twice a year, and every time we do, the experience is so special. The service is great, and the atmosphere is consistent, year after year. It's very casual, but such a happy place. They have a bar area where you can sit/stand while waiting for a table, and the bartenders are very friendly! They also have TVs located through the restaurant- usually playing sports. And the food is absolutely delicious. My family loves the ribs. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich with a baked potato. I don't even eat meat, but I eat it when I come here! Keep up the good work Twin Anchors!

Marked our wedding anniversary with the folks at Twin Anchors. Besides having the best ribs anywhere. Yes, anywhere. There is a reason why they have been successful since the 1930's...genuinely terrific service. Our server Debbie is the best and thank you Erin for helping us get our special table.

Number One... This is NOT BBQ. These are TAVERN RIBS. These ribs have not been smoked. They are, in essence, BRAISED.

Number Two... This is a bar that happens to serve food. They are famous for their ribs.

These are ribs where, they are tasty because of the sauce. If you are a "smoke and dry rub" purist... This is NOT your joint. These ribs are oven braised, finished under the broiler and with sauce. The Prohibition sauce is pretty good. It packs more heat than you might think. A decent amount of heat, actually.

Baked beans are good, solid French fries. Nice beer selection.

Been here for an eon, a few movies had scenes here. The food is not amazing, but it'll feed ya just fine.
