Cold Storage

Great food options are not matched by the service. During the dinner for four:

- Unfinished glass was taken away
- Three by dozen oysters served without a single oyster fork
- When inquired about the forks we were told "we got them, just not enough" (huh? in an oyster place?!)
- Plates are changed all the time, to the point of annoyance, but silverware taken and not replaced at times until asked
- Steak tartar and burrata salad took so much time to bring that we finished two dozen oysters - leisurely
- Three identical espressos brought after taking an order of 2x double and 1x single

Any of those in isolation would be an excusable nuisance. Altogether it is a pattern of poor management and a botched experience.

The food, again, was awesome - great quality and flavors. As of today Google claims this place is in the $$ price range. Nah, it is clearly $$$ - just look up in the menu what you'd have for a dinner.

Amazing seafood at a great price point. We stopped here before a black hawks game at the United Center. We were seated with no wait.

I would never have thought I like seafood that much! We arrived around 8 pm and got a great booth with no reservation - likely due to -20 degree weather. We ordered fish and chips, crab, calamari and shrimp Caesar, followed by banana split and pb sundae. Everything was delicious, especially the calamari and the crab, drenched in garlic butter. Yum! The service was great as well. I definitely recommend, even for those who don't know that like seafood yet :)

Small menu of fresh seafood. Great daily selection of oysters. East coast oysters for $1 from 3 to 6 Mon-Fri. Tasty fish and salads. Simple, but delicious preparation. Decent drink list. Beware that management seems to be not very interested in tending to clients in case a problem arises.

Great selection of oysters. They have $1 oysters from 3-6pm on weekdays. The $1 oysters are usually whatever the chef decides for that day. The drink selection is decent although they could use more beers on tap.
