One of the best brunch experiences I’ve ever had. Hubby and I were 5 min early for our noon reservation and our other two guests hadn’t arrived yet. Unbelievably, we were promptly seated! Service was impeccable and all of our dishes were excellent. The chicken and waffles are top notch including the waffles. And the banana split dessert is killer.
Absolutely fantastic. I've gone for both brunch and dinner and both times were incredible experiences. Despite being a Michelin starred restaurant with impossibly good food, the brunch menu is very accessible, and I highly recommend it to turn an otherwise boring weekend day into an out of this world experience. I recommend the chicken sandwich, I've been dreaming of it since.
If brunch was a dream, then dinner was a fantasy come to life. From the croquettes through to the ember ice cream, each course was food elevated. I couldn't resist the siren call of the chamomile and chicken again, opting for the half chicken service. Both braised and fried varieties were served, along with hot sauce and gravy. When I first sampled the gravy, I cried. It is that good. My companion had the pork butt, so tender that you could tease it apart with your fork. Everything had a delightful richness, but enough depth that it didn't overwhelm. After a dessert course of the s'mores like ember ice cream dish and the banana split, we were left blissfully sated.
Highly recommend, will come again.
Excellent food. Very good service. Stylish decor. Sunday brunch was one of the highlights of our trip to Chicago. Bookings strongly advised. The 'DoofDoof' music played throughout Roister though was far too loud. -1 star.
One of the best meals I had last year. Way overdue dining experience, so I was really looking forward to it- which can sometimes lead to disappointment. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. I'm already dying to go back for everything I didn't get to try, but even more so for everything that I did. I could make some recommendations but when even the French fries are phenomenal, I'm not sure you can go wrong with anything...
