Harold's Chicken #14 Hyde Park

Long wait time, edible if you like over cooked chicken. Nothing special here.
Try Harold's on 79th & Cottage Grove, the food is delicious & hot! There's still a 10-12 min wait time but worth it! I live in Hyde Park but will travel for good food.

Food is good but the service is horrendously slow theres literally no point in phoning in your order as it will never be ready no matter how far in advance you call. Pathetic. They need to reevaluate their SOP because it's broken to say the least. AND INVEST IN A PA SYSTEM FOR CHRISTS SAKE AND STOP YELLING ORDER # FROM BEHIND THICK PLEXIGLAS

Don't agree with their phone in process. The order won't actually be put in till you arrive. They also need to upgrade/fix their speaker system so people don't need to keep asking if their order has been called. Food wise the chix is pretty consistent but over the years the portions have gotten smaller while the prices increase. Be certain that you'll receive some smaller pieces if you order a bucket instead of the regular half or quarter orders.

Wow good chicken good hot chicken good lemon pepper chicken. So what I go there for is there fried okra just like my sainted mother made. She's from the great state of Alabama. If they had sweet tea and Cornbread I'd be in 7th Heaven. Try it see what you think. A 420 must
