Great Food with a Korean menu and clientele
I came here with a few Korean friends who highly recommended their Korean side of the menu. We ordered the usual dishes to start off: spicy rice cakes, grilled beef brisket (they called it the chadolbaegi salad), budae jigae, and the bulgogi, all to share. Their portions were the larger side and they are pretty much as close to Korean comfort food as you can get. I really digged the chadolbaegi salad that wasn't really a salad because it consisted mostly of thin slices of fatty pork drizzled in a sweet brown sauce. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous the entire evening, which really enhanced our dining experience. Lastly, their alcohol policy is BYOB!
Pretty much has been our go-to for the past couple weekends. Holds rare Asian drinks on their menu (fruity sake and jelly sake etc). Tofu soup is my fav, and dishes we’ve tried are all yummy (popcorn chicken and bulgogi)
We stumbled upon this restaurant while on our way home from Chicago. I had a beef dish, thinly sliced, was so soft and perfect. Drank some plum wine with it that was strong and delicious! Great food and adorable decor. Nice authentic music too, staff was very nice and bubbly.
It's 9:06 pm, Monday, September 3, 2016, and I just started typing this out while still here. Let me tell you, this place is amazing! The food was absolutely fantastic! And I didn't get our waitresses name, but she was absolutely wonderful. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is that I couldn't decide on what to get! There were so many wonderful options to pick from, but I ended up settling in Lion King Sushi. Jeez-us! It was delicious! I absolutely have to come back again!
