Food is always good!! Service can be very hit or miss. Depends who u get
I was a little worried when I walked in at 12:30 and the restaurant was practically empty, but decided to give it a shot! My server recommended the Orange Chicken and Shrimp Dumplings, and both were incredible! There's not much as far as atmosphere goes, but you can't beat the food...or the price!
I believe this is one of the best places to eat at in Chinatown for cheap and great food. The crab ragoon is amazing and so is the corn and chicken soup. At first the one thing I noticed was the tax that they charged a lot of people after they were done eating regardless of party size. That would make me upset. Therefore I would let that be my tip or I would add a few extra dollars. I understand the reason why they do that is because a lot of people unfortunately do not tip their servers for great service. I understand tipping is a choice but for a server that is a living. They stopped charging me the tax after they seen I go often and tip well. That was the only thing that I did not appreciate other than that the restaurant is amazing.
This Cantonese restaurant had been around since at least the 80s. It has a large menu. It is especially good with the Cantonese noodles it has kept the price very low and I think you get the best value here. They also do roast duck, roast pork such as char siu. You can buy by the pounds for take out.
