Monnie Burke's

Went to MB’s with my colleagues from work during restaurant week. Was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was nice and the staff were courteous. Chef was very accommodating of our specific dietary restrictions and switched items around to please.

We had a great time at Monnie Burke's! There was live music Saturday night with a fun band playing a great variety of music. The bar had some great beer on tap and a variety of interesting mixed drinks. The food was amazing and the staff made sure to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a great dining experience.

Such a hot spot! The octopus was excellent. The place is super cozy with great food and cocktails. Looks like there is a great patio for summer too. Can't wait to come back to try it out.

What a fun place. Friends and I made a reservation for brunch. The brunch menu is a concise. We liked that. Everything was really tasty. I loved the fresh naked biscuits for biscuits and gravy. But, whatever you do, make sure you get some fries. They are coated in flour before they are fried. They are so crispy and good. $30 mimosa carafes with fresh OJ were just perfect.

I loved the pattern on the walls. So quirky. I was a little surprised how empty it was, but there was a snowstorm outside.

This place made me excited about the Pilsen restaurant scene.

Oh, and the bathrooms were really chilly.

The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were amazing! This place is a neighborhood gem! The waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations on what food and drinks to order. We also really appreciated the manager coming by and checking in on us several times, it shows that they really care about customer service. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice casual place to eat and drink, as well as someone looking for a great date night destination. I'm really looking forward to when the weather warms up enough to eat in their outdoor area.
