Small place tge wait can be long if you hit it wrong. Good selection of salad, meat, fish and pasta. I had the grilled squid (or was it octopus?) Cooked perfectly slightly crunchy on edges. Best I have had in years if not ever. For sure a great option for dinner on a special night or any time you are in tye mood for good food.
Stumbled across this Hidden Gem. What a great meal. Ambience. Excellent service.
I am so stuffed after eating here, I didn't even manage to take any photos. Great restaurant to walk in and have fantastic Italian food. Every dish we ordered for a group of 5, from the burrata and carpaccio antipasti to the pastas and pizzas, hit the spot. If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant in Chicago, you won't go wrong.
This was a fantast little Italian restaurant in Lincoln Park. It was cozy with a good wine selection and great homey food. I had the gnocchi and it was delicious. They have gluten free options as well which was nice for an authentic place. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic but cozy date night.
Chicago Grinder and Pizza Oven was the plan. We even had our names on the list, and stepped into Riccardo for drinks and Antipasti while we waited the 2 hour wait across the street. Our appetizer was the best calamari of my entire life. It was grilled with some char, and melt-in-your-mouth with lots of flavor. We decided to stay for our entire meal, and I'm glad we did. The pork chop was amazing. The chocolate molten lava cake was not too sweet, absolutely perfect. You couldn't beat their customer service or atmosphere. This should be a major culinary destination.
