Bridge Cafe is located inside Breakthrough FamilyPlex which is a local business that offers a huge range of activities in the East Garfield Park community as well as surrounding communities. Bridge Cafe itself is a coffee shop where residents can gather in a peaceful place and have meetings, read or do homework while being able to purchase a select of foods and beverages offered by Bridge Cafe.

As for me, I come here mostly to utilize the WiFi, which is free! At the moment Bridge Cafe is the only place that I have noted in East Garfield Park neighborhood that offers free WiFi plus it is more convenient to me as well as for many other college students in the area. I also have the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone by getting a workout in at Breakthrough FamilyPlex fitness center, and then going downstairs to Bridge Cafe to complete homework assignments in a less distractful environment.

As for parking you have the option to park within Breakthrough FamilyPlex parking lot or within the neighborhood streets which is never an issue.

Great coffee, nice menu selection, smiling faces and they accept charge cards - the Bridge Café is great!

Great spot to grab a coffee and a snack, in an area that needs more friendly, comfortable places like this. Also supporting a VERY worthy cause.
