Uncle John's BBQ

They are hit or miss, depends on when you go and who's cooking. It was "GREAT" when they were located on 69th Calumet!! Its not bad though, I've had much worse. A little pricey (as you would expect from any BBQ house). Too sum it all up, I still eat from there and will continue to do so when I have a taste for some Uncle John's

Going up on the prices while shrinking the portions. I love the food. But the price to portion ratio bugs me. They are the only barbecue restaurant I know of where you can purchase a combo instead of buying everything separate. I love their hot links and rib tips. I must try the turkey tips.

They had a special on ribs so I want to try the ribs the ribs were pretty good they were nice and tender and Meaty they the meat itself did not have a lot of flavor so maybe they boil the meat or something and then put it on the wood to smoke. but overall it was pretty good

Meat portions and serving sizes could be better. Business hours and staff have improved. With few competitors in the general area, customers are limited in choice. More a-la carte options would be helpful also. Donut shop next door is always worth the visit!!

I will be honest I have a love hate relationship with Uncle John's BBQ. The food is good but the service can tend to be very slow and poor customer service. I like the sauce but I prefer it on the side instead of having my fries saturated in it along with the white bread I never eat. There sides run small and getting a bigger one for more than 2 people can tend to be pricey.
