(March 20, 2019, 12:15 am)Great to have a Soul food restaurant in Hyde Park. That being said, I went on a Sunday and was there for an hour before I paid for my food. So, I’d suggest not going during Sunday after church rush.
Despite the wait, they had a good process for taking orders. Everything is prepared to-go, but there is seating available. I ordered fried chicken, yams, and macaroni and cheese. Everything was very good. I also got an order of Soul Rolls, which are egg rolls with macaroni and yams inside. They are DELICIOUS!
I will definitely go back to try some of their other meat options (lamb chops and short ribs to name a few).
