Garcia's Restaurant

OMG, Garcia's put my local spot to shame. It took a while to get seated and we arrived around 5:30 pm. Although we had to wait the chicken tacos dinner is what I ordered and the seasoning was perfect. The food came out fast, hot and delicious. My five stars is for the food and not the service as their service need improvement. We didn't wait because it was busy. We waited because they were not organized and just seemed like no one knew what they were doing. The restaurant want even busy so I'm not sure why we waited to be seated when half the restart was empty

There's a reason this place has such strong reviews. Generally good Mexican food. Great big restaurant. Perfect for groups. Nice in the summertime to have a light meal and some margaritas. Friendly staff. Quick food service and it's always busy.

The atmosphere was great and cozy. I went to celebrate my dad's birthday. They sang happy birthday to him. We got to bring our own cake too! Awesome place for celebrations or just a night out!!

I had stomach issues after my last meal here. Taste-wise, other places are slightly better. Although, I could get the "Chicago's best burrito" any day. I really wish this place lived up to the hype.

Some of the best margaritas anywhere (got the blueberry). Good food with large portions. 4 star because the guac had little flavor and wasn't really mashed and the service was very very slow. Would definitely go back for more drinks!
