Such a unique place! We loved the decor - which was a cross between Balinese and western and maybe a bit of everything in between? The glass and steel and bricks was such a cool blend, structurally.
As to the food, the offerings were just as diverse. We loved everything we had. The amount of smoked salmon on the toast was ridiculous (in a great way). Drinks were delicious, as well.
Excellent food. We made dinner reservations and the table was ready immediately. Very attentive staff.
It's a really cool environment. Big space with tons of waxy candles and an insane amount of real plant life. The cocktail list is small but very unique and complex. The food is great but it is expensive and not a ton of food for the dishes. Service is great and fairly attentive for how crowded it can get. My only real snobby complaint is the host at the podium kept using his phone flashlight and accidentally shining it right at us throughout our whole meal.
This is the second time I have being to this restaurant and it’s a great place. This is a must do for all locals and visitors. Very trend bar. I recommend booking. The food was on point and the service was great. Definitely check out this venue.
Fun, funky, noisy but somehow cozy. On a COLD winter day, Beatnik was a little slice of escape. The staff was really friendly and helpful with the menu and suggestions. We went during brunch but the menu choices were varied enough that we got more lunch than brunch -- which is great when most brunch places really are more like breakfast places (don't change!). We had a couple drinks each -- bubbly and cocktails -- which were solid. The food was worth returning for as well: comfort food taste, manageable portions and inventive pairings. That said, I still had to take something to go! I overheard some complaints about pricing, but honestly, it's on par with similar restaurants and for the neighborhood. I will be back!
