Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery

Enjoyed this place with friends on a stop in to Chicago. Fun good beer, drinks and food. played Halloween bingo, what a fun atmosphere.

Came to this pizzeria with my father who was visiting from Florida. I'm definitely going to be coming back here with my girlfriend, and we live up on the North Side! The pizza was phenomenal. The beer was even better! We also got a salad and the crispy cauliflower appetizer which was ????

Highly recommend Jolly Pumpkin to anyone who lives in Chicago! You won't be disappointed!

Knowledgeable and friendly bartender. Good chats about beer. Happy to provide samples. Menu was recently updated but was happy to talk about new menu items.

Uninspired and not very friendly. The bartender grabbed the beer list out of my hand and started crossing things off.. didn’t take the time to make any recommendations at all. The food was fine; it’s a bit overpriced but good enough that I wouldn’t need to leave to get food.

Altogether, the service experience was poor and the food decent. With so many good breweries in Chicago that are happy to get my business, I won’t be coming back to JP. Shame as I’ve been going to the Michigan locations for years and this was not at all consistent with the good times I’ve had there.

Good menu, odd set up. You get up and order everything at counter, pick up your own silverware, played, hail your own drinks. So, with a big group, not great. And not good if you're looking to be served. You'll do your own work to get stuff here. But the food and drinks are delicious. I had their cocktails: supurb. Everything we ate: fantastic. Go and enjoy, but know what to expect.
