    There is always another level of excellence. Kyōten is that next level to all the other sushi places I previously thought was the best. The chef was very kind and engaging and the setting was intimate and personalized. World class fish and rice like you never experienced. Very grateful chef Otto chose Chicago as his new home.

    Tonight's sushi experience has changed my life. I have literally never experienced such combinations of flavors before tonight at Kyoten with Chef Otto. His knowledge and skill are next level and what he serves will save you a trip to Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if this place has a Michelin star by next year. Thank you for for such a unique culinary journey tonight, Chef!

    Easily the best sushi in Chicago, and an all around great experience. I expect two Michelin is seriously reasonable, as the Chef referenced in some early articles. I enjoyed this place like I enjoyed Oriole, more than many amazing places, including sushi outside Chicago. I don’t give these easily, but this place really left an impression on me.
