Neat place, really tasty food, had one of their seafood dishes (can't remember, it's been awhile, had shrimp rice and I think scallops). Anyway, the reason for the three stars was just the wait we had at the table, it made us just not want to add any orders or drinks because the waits between the drinks was wayyy too long. When server would check in with us, the drinks we had in mind disappeared and we just asked for the check and left. It seemed busy so I'll give em that. Still, if you only ordered a cider drink, shouldn't take what felt like twenty minutes to get it.
Very cool place. Great beer and knowledgeable servers. Food was very good too. One star off for slow service and hard to get water refills.
The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, and I can imagine it's a fun place on a weekend night. They have a good selection of ciders and beers. I can appreciate the effort to offer a variety of food choices that are vegan, vegetarian and/or gluten free, but I found the offerings to be a bit pretentious. And I certainly didn't expect to have lunch be as expensive as it was (especially since a only had water to drink). My daughter suggested ERIS and was enthusiastic about bringing me there. We did enjoy our food, but we also were there to spend time together and chat. We might've stayed longer, but our server made us feel uncomfortable despite the fact that there wasn't a big crowd and no one was waiting for our table. Because she lives in the neighborhood, she'll go back. I won't make the effort.
Great little spot. Stop there while on our way to the beach. The bartenders can guide you through the beer menu and food menu. Definitely a good place to stop.
We've been meaning to check our Eris for a while, and boy did it not disappoint. The ciders were super good, not too sweet or too dry which I think is perfect. And the food. Wow. So good. I got the chorizo crusted pork chops and they were easily some of the best pork chops I've ever had. My boyfriend got the sausage wrapped in bacon and raved about it. The fries with his dish were also super good.
The building itself too is super neat and we really liked the vibe. Will definitely visit more once we move closer to the area.
