Went for one of the few brunch spots during restaurant week with a great group of friends. This French bistro is really on their gastronomy game and the space is very comfortable and quaint. I had the French onion soup, Lorraine omelette and the desert pictured which was delectable with warm chocolate syrup. The warm baguettes with butter and jelly for the table is always welcome especially on a cold day. Love this place!

Wow, as soon as you walk into Mon Ami Gabi you instantly sense that you are in a high-end restaurant. The restaurant is tucked right inside the Belsen Stratford Apartment building, I went with a group of friends on a Friday evening for dinner.

Each of us ordered different dishes so we could try everything else, but what we were really curious about were the escargot and the skate wing.
The escargot was super delicious, it was covered in this garlic buttery sauce that tasted like pesto. After we polished off the escargot, we actually used the sauce it came in as a dipping sauce for our bread.

A skate wing is the wing of a stingray. I've never eaten stingray before so I didn't know what to expect. But as soon as I put a piece in my mouth and tasted that tender piece of meat I was blown away. It is hard to believe that this dish came from an animal that looks like it's made purely out of cartilage. Highly recommend!

All the other dishes were superb as well, but I highly recommend getting the above if you want to experience something new!

Great French bistro type of a setting, yet with meals you will find in a classic American restaurant. The food is great, but sadly isn't served on a hot plate, so be prepared to eat your stake quite cold by the end. Wibe selection is impressive, yet I'd expect a better French Champagne selection too. Definitely 4* with opportunities for improvement.

Excellent food and well presented with great staff. Nice atmosphere as well. Prices seemed Fair. My only minor complaint is I would like to see more vegetarian dishes.

Perfection! We were a little leery because they are so family friendly but we had a delightful evening even though we were surrounded by kids. The food was incredible! The Duck Confit was the best I have ever had. The Beef Tenderloin was delicious and the desserts were heavenly.
